Application Process

AWARD

As we celebrate year 10 of our scholarship, the 2026 scholarship provides one student with a $5,000 monetary gift and a new laptop computer. The winner will recieve the computer on JCHS Honors night. The first half of the monetary gift will be given upon college enrollement. The remaining monetary gift will be given at the beginning of second academic year.

SELECTION

Foundation Selection Committee and the Student Counselor at Jenkins County High School will select a winner.

Students will apply for the scholarship by:

  • Submitting a completed application form found below

  • Providing a copy of their college acceptance letter(s)

  • Submitting two letters of recommendation (at least one from JCHS faculty)

  • Goal Statement: Provide a goals statement that addresses your educational and career goals. Explain how your education at your accepted college will help you achieve these goals (minimum 500 word count).
